Texarkana Man Injured After Apparent Hit and Run

Texarkana Texas Police say 56 year Old Leamon Allen Jr. is hospitalized in serious condition after apparently being stuck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle to work.Authorities were called to the 800 block of Phenie Street Thursday morning after a man was found lying in a ditch. Officers investigation shows that Allen's bike was allegedly taken by the driver who struck him. The accident ocurred sometime between 6:50 and 7:26 a.m.

Police are interested in speaking with the drivers of a gold or champaigne colored Cadillac and a dark colored truck that were seen in the area at the time of the incident.
