The annual Christmas and holiday music presentation sponsored by the Texarkana College Music Department is tonight.The event starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Sullivan Performing Arts Center at Texas High School. Yulefest will include more than 150 area students representing three high school choirs, a middle school choir and the Texarkana College Choir.

This includes students from Liberty-Eylau High School, Texas High School, Texas Middle School 8th grade, Texarkana College and Veritas Academy. Each school will perform two musical selections fo their choice and will  conclude with a combined grand finale featuring traditional Christmas songs.

For the firs ttime this year there will be a sing-along  for the audience to participate. Other highlights are student solos and percussion accompaniment and Pianist Mary Scott Goode,long-time Texarkana College Music Instructor, will accompnay the grand finale.

Cost of admission is just $5 per person. Once again, Yulefest 2012 is this Friday December 7th inside the Sullivan Performing Arts Center on the campus of Texas High School at 3941 Summerhill Road in Texarkana, Texas.
