Texarkana Arkansas Still Looking For an Interim City Manager

The Texarkana Arkansas City Board of Directors will meet in an executive session this Thursday April 4th at 3 p.m. at City Hall.The item on the agenda will to discuss the Interim City Manager Position. The board earlier this week approved a compensation package for Charles Nickerson. However, after it took lengthy discussion and several votes to confirm him, Nickerson has decided to decline the position.

The board is looking for a temporary replacement for Harold Boldt, the former City Manager, who parted ways with the board of directors a couple of weeks ago.
