Texarkana Arkansas Police Looking For Shooting Suspect

On September 10, 2013, at 8:00pm, Texarkana Arkansas Police responded to the 4000 block of North State Line Avenue in reference to a 911 call of shots fired.

When officers arrived they located the victim, Trey Cressell, B/M 22yoa, in the parking lot of the business.  Cressell had sustained two gunshot wounds and was transported to Wadley Hospital for medical attention.

The initial investigation revealed that a verbal altercation occurred at another location between Cressell and the suspect, Dealrae Smith, B/M 32yoa.  The altercation continued in the parking lot of the 4000 block of North State Line which then resulted in shooting.

At this time Cressell is currently in critical condition at Wadley Hospital.

Smith is currently wanted for 1st degree battery, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm.
