Texarkana Arkansas Board to Talk About The Water Park

The Texarkana Arkansas Board of Directors meets tonight at City Hall.The board will consider an ordinance authorizing the City Manager to finalize funding for the Holiday Springs Water Park incentive package. Also, the board will consider granting a limited franchise to Texarkana Hotels LLC, for two hotel, conventions center and water park signs at the intersections of Convention Street and Crossroads Parkway and Commerce Street and Crossroads Parkway.

The board will also go into executive session and consider appointing George Matteson as the new City Attorney, and authorize the execution of a contract for his services.
