Texarkana, Ark., Board of Directors to Meet Tonight

The Texarkana, Ark., City Board of Directors meets tonight at City Hall.Mayor-Elect Ruth Penney Bell will receive the oath of office, followed by Ward 3 Director Tim Johnson, Ward 4 Director Travis Odom, and Ward 5 Director Barbara Miner.

The board will then go into an executive session to appoint a new Ward 1 Director. The person chosen will take Ruth Penney Bell's place on the board, now that she is the new Mayor.

The public is invited to attend the open portion of tonight's meeting.
