Ted Williams: Rise, Fall, Rehab…Who Didn’t See it Coming?

I caught part of Ted Williams on Dr. Phil this week. He was on at least 2 days this week. First was the whole family episode that aired after we had already heard about the drinking and then the blow up with his daughter. The second show was the recap/aftermath which aired after we had already heard rumors that Ted Williams was headed to rehab on the Dr. Phil train (I love Dr. Phil's show, by the way). The trip to rehab is by way of a return trip home to Ohio first. Dr. Phil is sending one of his people to "help" Ted Williams on his trip home. Will it be an uneventful trip home? No drama? Hmmmm, not sure about that. It makes you wonder where has Ted Williams been all this time. As soon as someone gives him some press coverage it turns into a drama-filled zone that might sell great as a reality show.

I wish Ted Williams the best but I do have to say that my second thought after his story of sobriety and discovery hit was: How long will it be before the media finds the skeletons in the closet.
