Taylor Swift has landed the coveted opening performance spot on Sunday night's 55th Annual Grammy Awards, where she's up for three awards including Record of the Year for "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."

Taylor's Grammy appearance comes on the heels of her performances at awards shows in France and Spain just last week. She's also preparing for the launch of her Red tour next month.  In the midst of this crazy schedule, Taylor relies on her friends to keep her grounded.

"My friends don’t treat me like anything different than who I am," Taylor says, "which is their friend who goes through things the same way that they do, and vents the same way, gets off of work and calls them and it’s like, 'We’ve got to get together.  I have to tell you about this.'"

Granted, some of Taylor's girlfriends are celebrities, like Selena Gomez or Dianna Agron from Glee.  She also maintains relationships with other pals who are in college right now or pursuing jobs outside the music industry.

Taylor says of her friends, "It doesn’t really matter what they do with their life.  We’re probably just gonna talk about boys and feelings anyway."

Of course, Taylor turns those conversations about boys and feelings into multi-platinum hits.  Her latest album, Red, has been certified quadruple platinum for sales of four million copies, and it's moved 5.4 million copies globally.
