Sparks in the Park

With the disappointment of the annual "Sparks in the Park show" being cancelled I looked on my phone for some of the other firework shows going on and found a video that made me feel better about the show being cancelled and I thought I would share it with you.

The Annual Sparks in the Park has been cancelled.

Law enforcement is looking to make getting in and out of Sparks in the Park event easier and faster this year.

Today is Independence Day. Americans will be celebrating this mid-summer holiday at the lakes, in the pool, in the backyard with friends cooking out or just relaxing on vacation watching a fireworks show. But do you really know what you are celebrating?

Food, live music, kids' games and fireworks are awaiting you on Saturday in Texarkana at the fairgrounds. The gates open for Sparks in the Park at 4 p.m. Free admission and all of the games and entertainment are free.

We are looking for some great photos of the 2015 Sparks in the Park event, so bring your camera and take your best shot!

The Autumn City is an alternative/pop rock band and will be playing at this year's "Sparks in The Park" at 7 p.m. at the Four States Fairgrounds.

Get ready for some fun and games this Saturday, July 4. There were many games for the kids (and adults) at last year's Sparks in the Park celebration at the Four States Fairgrounds and this year will not disappoint! The events are free, parking is free too.

Sparks in the Park is Saturday, July 4, at the Four States Fairgrounds in Texarkana. Gates open at 4 p.m. There are many activities planned and we want you to be prepared for all of the fun.

"Sparks in the Park" is Saturday and as always features some great live and local music. Today I would like to feature one of those great local artists J.P. Edwards.

Townsquare Media, the City of Texarkana, Ark., Southwest Arkansas REA and Bowie Cass Electric is proud to present "Sparks in The Park 2015" on Saturday, July 4, at the Four States Fairgrounds. One of the attractions will be the Lead Foot Mud Drag Trucks on display.
