The rap trio was forced to cancel a 2009 tour and delay their next album when Yauch was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor. He broke the news to fans in a YouTube video and proceeded with treatment while the Boys went on hiatus. A year and a half later, bandmate Mike D is telling BBC Radio in a new interview that MCA has not only recovered, he’s back in the studio.
