UPDATE: The pet of the week from November 15 caught the eye of a local family and they adopted her from the shelter last week. They spent the day with her and fell in love only to realize she is not good in a multi-dog home. Sadly the new family had to return her to the shelter because she would fight with the other, smaller dogs when they tried to get close to the owners.

Collide is the dog's name that we are highlighting as our pet of the week and I quickly found out why. He still has playful puppy in him and he is a big boy so when he comes running, sometimes he doesn't completely stop in time to prevent a collision.

Sawyer is a mixture of all the best parts of a Beagle and Jack Russell. He is sweet, fun, energetic, entertaining and very smart. Sawyer is already neutered and quickly learned how to play fetch. He loves to interact with people and is also good with other dogs.

Tripp is a 10 month old American Bulldog mix. He is house trained, great on a leash and very friendly to people.

This sweet, young Retriever mix knows commands and will drop the throw rope at your feet too. She has either been worked with or is just super smart. With some fine tuning, she could be a pro at the game of fetch and maybe even retrieve some birds for you.
