It&#8217;s been revealed  that <a href="http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2011/jun/30/myspace-internet">Justin Timberlake was a significant financial backer of Wednesday&#8217;s $35  million dollar acquisition of Myspace</a> by digital advertising firm  Specific Media from former parent News Corp. Timberlake, who played Napster founder and Facebook  investor Sean Parker in the &#8216;The Social Network&#8217; will &#8220;lead the business  strategy&#8221; for the new version of the floundering social network. Though he will have an office  at Myspace HQ in Beverly Hills, Specific Media chief executive Tim Vangerhook said that JT is &#8220;probably not going to be there every day.&#8221;</p>
