On Sunday, Aug. 27, at Scottie's Grill from 1PM to 5PM the entire family can enjoy food and entertainment while helping out a local family in need. This is a fundraiser to help the family of Bradley Todd with medical expenses and living expenses. There will be live and silent auction items to bid on and raffles too.

A fundraiser will be held on Saturday, Aug. 26, in honor of Chloe Cox. You can also enter the raffles to win great prizes. Later in the morning they will serve hot dogs, chips and drinks for $3.

Helping out and supporting local families and friends as well as groups that give back to the community is something that we should all do. It is as simple as eating some of your favorite foods and entering contests to win prizes.

The annual Meagan Mauldin Love For The Cure Spring fundraiser is Saturday, May 13, from 11AM to 5PM on the patio of Hot Tails Crawfish. The silent auction, bake sale and raffles help to pay for expenses of many local cancer patients.

"A Community Kickin Cancer" will kick off this Saturday, May 6, from 2:30-9:30PM at the Four States Fairgrounds Oasis.

A bake sale and silent auction fundraiser will be held Saturday for Pam Lorance. Pam is a high school friend of mine and she has recently been diagnosed with cancer. She and her family are doing a lot of traveling for her treatments. You can help with this fundraiser by donating baked goods and other items for the silent auction then on Saturday, March 18, attend this fun event from 11AM to 5PM. R

This sweet 12-year-old girl is undergoing treatment for a very rare brain tumor. The treatment and expenses for travel for the family continue to grow as she continues to undergo treatment for the tumor. You can help by attending this fundraiser where there is something for everyone.

Make plans to join The United Way of Greater Texarkana and Cooper Tire and Rubber Company from 5M to 7:30PM  Thursday as they will be frying up fish and all of the fixings.

Visit a lemonade stand in Texarkana today to support our local animal shelter. Make a donation for a glass of lemonade on Monday, July 25, from 11:30AM to 1PM and again from 5- 6PM at the corner of McKnight and Windmere in Texarkana, Texas. All of the proceeds from the lemonade stand will benefit the Animal Care and Adoption Center.

Fuji Kim's Sushi & Grill will host a fundraiser for three children in need in the Texarkana area.

A fundraiser for the Girl Scout International Destination program will be held Tuesday from 5-9PM at Orange Leaf on State Line Avenue.
