Sure, people say they want sense of humor in a potential mate, but what kind of humor are they talking about?

A new study by matchmaking site eHarmony sought to find out the answer to that very question.

Data from nearly 850,000 site users helped compile the results after they were asked,
"How much more attractive does your style of humor make you?" Men talk 14 percent more with women who are sarcastic, while women communicate 16 percent more with men with a dry sense of humor.

Women with childlish senses of humor also scored high with men, while sarcastic fellas also did well among women.

Women had best avoid doling out their collection of President Obama jokes, though. That's because men are most turned off by women with a political sense of humor, while women say they don't like guys with a dark sense of humor.
