It seems fitting that the Snowman's Run to benefit wounded warriors should end right where the fictional story began all those years ago, in Texarkana.

If you're too young to remember the Snowman played by Jerry Reed along with the other characters in the Smokey & The Bandit movies, then you should find it on Netflix or some other source and get caught up on your Texarkana movie history.

When Jerry Reed was alive he raised a lot of funds for wounded veterans and this charity is a continuation of the Snowman's dream of helping vets and showing off of course.

The run is planned to arrive between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Four States Auto Museum at the parking lot off Hazel and E. 3rd Streets.

The Museum is having a "Cruise In" that night from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m.
