One part Hank…One part Jamey..One part Skynyrd.. 100% Outlaw Country! Raised on the Texas-Louisiana state line, Cody Cooke IS country music. He lives, eats, and sIeeps country music. The words to his songs are based on his life experiences. Born in Mansfield, Louisiana, Cody grew up cruising the back roads, fishing the best creeks, and sipping the finest shine that the south has to offer. Cody’s music offers hints of his favorite influences from Hank 1, 2, & 3, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, David Allan Coe, Travis Tritt, & Tony Joe White to newer artists such as Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, & Brantley Gilbert. His sound is truly classic outlaw country with a rockin’ sound -turned up to eleven.

He’s only been writing music for the past few years but in the 1st year of hitting the stage, he has played with David Allan Coe, Shooter Jennings, Brantley Gilbert, Colt Ford, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Pat Green, Jason Boland, Justin Moore, Easton Corbin, Chris Knight, Kyle Turley, Josh Thompson, Randy Houser, and Travis Tritt. The future is looking bright for Cody Cooke and his Bayou Outlaws.

http://www.blackwaterbride.com/ Bio:
Black Water Bride is out to show the full scope of what Louisiana music has to offer. They do so by mixing all of their various influences and experiences with a love of the state they call home. By mixing soulful, backroad, country vocals with the slow style of NOLA hard rock along with melody and pop hooks, they are at the forefront of what is being called the "Black Water Music Style". All of the members come from various backgrounds and musical direction. Singer Brandon Gonyea and drummer Chad Morgan have been pulling themselves around the south touring with the southern rock band Ultraswade while guitarist David Combs and bassist Scott Seyfried have been behind the Shreveport rock staple BuiltForSpeed. When Ultraswade lost their bass player, it just so happened that BuiltForSpeed was taking a much needed break and longtime friend Scott had some free time. After playing several shows under the name The Laud Waters Band, they found themselves needing a guitarist. Scott convinced his bandmate Dave to jump aboard and so became the musical juggernaut Black Water Bride. With Brandon's old school country song writing approach, Dave's blistering leads, and Scott and Chad's thunderous rhythm section, this band is destined to blur genre lines and turn the music world on its ear. Put all of this together with a high energy live show and you have a band that can play virtually anywhere, with anybody, and still feel like they belon
