Texas side police are investigating a shooting outside a Texarkana restaurant Wednesday evening that left two people injured and at least one person behind bars.Texarkana, Texas, Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on the parking lot of the Silver Star Smokehouse at 5205 W. Park Blvd. Two people suffered gunshot wounds following a brief fist fight. The shooter was arrested at the scene.

At approximately 6:17PM, officers were dispatched to the report of a shooting at the restaurant. When officers arrived, they found two subjects who had been shot on the parking lot. The initial investigation determined that a group of five people were inside the restaurant. After two men came inside that they knew, the group allegedly decided to leave before there was a problem. A few minutes later, the two men allegedly followed the group outside and confronted them on the parking lot.

After a brief fist fight, 22-year-old Patrick Clifton Jordan, of Broken Bow, Okla., reportedly pulled out a small caliber pistol and fired multiple shots. 21-year-old Summer Varley, and 21-year-old Jordan Royal, both of Texarkana Texas, suffered single gunshot wounds.

They were both transported to local hospitals for treatment.

Varley was treated and released, while Royal remains hospitalized at Christus St. Michael System. His condition unknown.

Upon officers’ arrival, Jordan was waiting and was immediately taken into custody without incident. He is charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault and remains in the Bi-State Jail.  His bond has been set at $100,000 for each of the charges ($200,000 total).
