Power 95-9 is excited about teaming back up with the City of Texarkana, Arkansas for it's annual Sparks in The Park 4th of July celebration presented by Southwest Arkansas REA and Bowie-Cass Electric Cooperative. This is the first time Sparks in The Park will be celebrated on the 4th and that makes it even more special.

We'll have plenty of things to do when the party gets underway at the Four States Fairgrounds starting at 4 p.m.

There will be Kids inflatables, games, prizes, fair food, and live music from Driven and The Dusty Rose Band on the Stateline Fireworks Inc stage.

And if it's hot which more than likely it will be you can keep cool with the water misters sponsored by Red River Credit Union!

There will be the MetroPCS Playground for the kids and TEXAR Federal Credit Union will be face painting for free!  Oh, and be sure to test your skills and scale the Texas A&M University-Texarkana rock climbing wall! There will also be a HUGE sandbox sponsored by McDonald's!

Dress your kids up in red, white and blue and enter them into the Buffalo Wild Wings Costume Contest, or the Strollers & Rollers contest where parents can decorate their children's strollers and wagons.

And thanks to Red River Army Depot they are going to be bringing some of their military vehicles to display, so make sure to bring your camera!
