If you live in Texarkana, you probably have already seen Ramin Karimloo in concert! Ramin came to Pleasant Grove Performing Arts Center in April 2013 to perform "Broadway to Bluegrass," a show where he stripped down both Broadway showstoppers and new material to their bare bones to provide a very intimate concert experience.  The show Ramin and his band put on that night brought everyone to their feet! I left his concert a true fan.

Now I've discovered that Ramin will reprise the role of Jean Valjean in Les Miserables starting March 23, 2014 at the Imperial Theater in New York. My excitement can hardly be contained! He's currently starring in the same role in Toronto. Ramin Karimloo was awarded the 2013 Theatregoers' Choice Award for Best Takeover in a Role for portraying Jean Valjean at The Queen's Theatre in London.

Ramin has also performed in Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera and Love Never Dies, the sequel to Phantom in which Andrew Lloyd Webber personally picked Ramin to play the Phantom.

I have marked my calendar so I can start saving money for tickets to the show for me and my husband.
