Provide a Pet a Pad - Help Us Find a Dog a New Home

Molly is great on a leash, approximately 2 years old, spayed. She is a beagle-corgi mix. Molly is house-trained. She is very sweet and loving.

I enjoyed my visit with Molly at the animal shelter. She was super easy to get out of the kennel and take for a walk in the exercise area. I had no problem managing her, my big camera and my flip video camera. She probably weighs around 25 pounds. She comes when called and gives sweet kisses when you ask for them.

Our featured dog comes with a FREE basic survival kit from Pleasant Grove Animal Hospital valued at $100! This "peace of mind package" includes everything that is not included when you adopt from the shelter. Any vaccinations needed, testing for worms, one month’s treatment for fleas and heart worms and so much more.

There are thousands of dogs that are euthanized every year in our shelter in Texarkana. Please help us make a difference by spreading the word. The shelter's adoption fees range from $40 to $144, depending on the gender and size of the animal or whether they have been spayed or neutered yet. You can also have your pet micro-chipped for only $20 right at the shelter! That way if your pet is ever lost, he can be returned to you quickly.

The Animal Care and Adoption Center is located at 203 Harrison St., Texarkana, Ark. 71854 and is open Monday through Saturday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
