Aticus is a 1 year old beagle mix who has been at the shelter since January! He is a sweet boy that walks well on a leash. Beagles are good family pets.

Aticus will need to be neutered when he is adopted. His total adoption fee that includes the shelter's adoption fee will be a little over $100. When you adopt Aticus, or any of our Provide a Pet a Pad dogs, you receive a basic survival kit for your new dog from Pleasant Grove Animal Hospital which includes everything he needs!

The package you get from PGAH takes care of vaccinations, testing for worms (including heartworms), one-month treatment for fleas and heartworms and so much more. This entire package is worth $100 and you get it for free when you adopt Aticus.

PGAH can answer all of your questions on care and which products will be best for Aticus. They don't just perform tests and treat Aticus, they give valuable information about temperament, training and caring for your new dog.

If Aticus isn't the dog for you there are plenty of other animals at the shelter to chose from. The adoption fees vary from $40 to $144, depending on the size, gender, animal and whether or not they were spayed or neutered when they came into the shelter. Micro-chipping your pet is only $20 through the shelter and gives you peace of mind to know if your dog or cat get picked up by the shelter or taken to a vet, they will be returned to you quickly.
