Pleasant Grove to Search For New Superintendent

Pleasant Grove Superintendent Margaret Davis is to retire at the end of this school year next June.Mrs . Davis is in her 23rd year as Superintendent for the district. She has been with the school system for 32 or her 41 years as a Texas educator. The school district has flourished under her leadership and ranks high in student test scores and overall achievement in the state of Texas.

Mrs. Davis says she has experienced "great joy through my association with thousands of delightful  students, outstanding educators and trustees, parents, community members and friends across the state."

The school board of trustees will begin the process of the Superintendent search when the district re-opens following the upcoming Christmas Holiday break.
