Peace Officer Memorial Ceremony in Texarkana [VIDEOS]

You are invited to the 7th Annual City of Texarkana, Texas, Peace Officer Memorial Ceremony at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6 to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice and those who continue to serve our community.The event is being held at the John Thomas Theater inside the Sullivan Performing Arts Center which is located on the campus of Texas High School at 3941 Summerhill Road. Special musical guest this year is the Dallas Police Department Choir -- see videos below.

Texarkana, Texas Mayor Bob Bruggeman, City Council members, City Manager and other civic leaders invite all citizens to come to honor police officers and fallen Texas Peace Officers. The event is free to the public.

There is also a reception following the ceremony.
