Sad news to report regarding the Jackson family. Paris Jackson, the teenage daughter of the late Michael Jackson, was hospitalized early Wednesday morning (June 5) after attempting suicide.

Paris' mother, Debbie Rowe, confirmed to ETonline.com that she did try to end her life. The 15-year-old child is currently recovering at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles.

According to TMZ, a 911 call came at 1:27AM CT from the family home in Calabasas.

However, there are conflicting reports on what occurred at the residence. Some reports are saying that Paris may have cut her wrists, while other news outlets are reporting that the call was for a "possible overdose."

Before her suicide attempt, Paris went on Twitter and tweeted a line from 'Yesterday,' a Beatles song.

"Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay," she wrote.  An hour before that, she tweeted, "i wonder why tears are salty?"

This incident comes at a bad time for the Jackson family, as they are currently embroiled in a wrongful-death case against tour promoters AEG.

An attorney for Katherine Jackson, Paris' grandmother, told the New York Daily News that "[Paris has] suffered with the loss of her father, but we don't know what she was exposed to that precipitated this."

This is going to be a tough month for both Paris and the Jackson family as we approach the fourth anniversary of Michael Jackson's death on June 25.

We send peaceful vibes to Paris Jackson and wish her well in her recovery.

UPDATE:
TMZ is reporting that Paris Jackson left a suicide note and cut her arm with a meat cleaver. She then called a suicide hotline and the dispatcher was alarmed enough to call 911. In addition to cutting herself, Paris also ingested a large amount of Motrin pills. It's unclear what she wrote in the suicide note.
