The "Our Night to Shine" 2015 Prom for juniors and seniors with special needs who are homebound or home schooled will be May 16, 2015 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Powerhouse at Church on The Rock at 1601 Mall Drive in Texarkana, Texas.

The prom is for students to have a night to shine! The event is open to all juniors and seniors who are homebound or home schooled. Admission is free and there will be pictures available.

"Our Night To Shine Prom" will also crown a queen and king of the prom and parents are encouraged to stay and help chaperon the event. Services for hair and makeup, as well as dress and tuxedo help for the kids will be available.

Volunteers are needed and anyone who can help sponsor the event is greatly appreciated. For more information please call 903-277-5458 and to volunteer.

The Powerhouse is a youth organization of the Church On The Rock in Texarkana and is led by Pastor Travis and Whitney Jackson. Teens 7th grade trough 12th grade meet Wednesdays at 6:45 p.m.

Velocity is a junior high level church for 7th and 8th graders. The Velocity classes meet Sundays at 11:15 a.m.

High school students can get connected, get equipped and get closer to Jesus through Bible study, fellowship and accountability. The high school group meets Sunday, 11:15 a.m., in the International Room.

Student Leadership is available and meets Wednesdays at 5 p.m. Power House Prayer is available on Wednesdays 6:15 p.m.
