In addition to Sam Smith surprising everyone with his US debut performance, 'Saturday Night Live' opened with a hilarious skit featuring President Obama (played by Jay Pharoah) trying to figure out new ways to get people to sign up at Healthcare.gov. With the help of a White House social media expert, he finds himself taking photos with parody versions of Justin Bieber, Harry Styles of One Direction, Kim Kardashian and posing wearing Pharrell's now famous Grammys hat.

Spoofing the real-life obstacles that the Obama administration are experiencing with Healthcare.gov, the skit opens with an advisor to Obama proclaiming that the 'Between Two Ferns' with Zach Galifianakis was a success, and that the President needs to do similar viral stunts in order to attract more sign-ups before Monday's deadline. The social media advisor insists on taking photos for the White House Instagram, Twitter and Vine feeds.

We don't want to spoil the jokes for those of you who haven't seen it, so check out the sketch from last night's episode above. Louis C.K. was the guest host and much like his stand-up shows, the rest of the episode featured some pretty funny skits.

What did you think of the SNL versions of Bieber, Kardashian and Styles?
