No Adoption Fee Saturday at the Shelter [PHOTOS]

This Saturday there are no adoption fees to adopt a dog or cat. The shelter will also have animals at the Octoberfest event in Downtown Texarkana.

Here are just a few of the dogs that are available for adoption.

The adoption fee is normally $40 but that fee is being waived during the Saturday event. Those adopting animals will still be responsible for paying to have the animal spayed or neutered.

The Animal Care and Adoption Center is located at 203 Harrison St., Texarkana, Ark. 71854 and is open Monday through Saturday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
