Mistletoe Fair is This Weekend in Texarkana

The Junior League of Texarkana Mistletoe Fair kicked off with the Preview Party on Thursday, Nov. 17. General shopping runs through Sunday, Nov. 20. Santa will arrive on Friday night. Here are photos from the first night and what to expect during this year's event.

Two new events have been added to this year's Mistletoe Fair:

1. The Miss Mistletoe Fair Pageant is for ages from newborns to 24 years old.
2. Ladies Night with a Twist will be an evening filled with refreshments, painting, shopping and entertainment just for the ladies.

Santa arrives Friday evening in his helicopter. Watch his arrival and get your child's photo made in Santa's lap.

Regular Shopping Hours:

• Friday, Nov. 18, 10AM to 8PM
• Saturday, Nov. 19, 9AM to 6PM
• Sunday, Nov. 20, 12PM to 5PM

Shop the many vendor booths from all over the United States in one convenient location at the Four States Fairgrounds Entertainment Center. This event is the fundraiser that the Junior League hosts yearly to raise money for all of their worthy causes that give back to our community.

This year's benefit drawing offers the winner the option of selecting one of these trips:

• Costa Rica
• Oahu, Hawaii
• Sonoma, California
