Two Miller County men were arrested over the weekend in connection with a theft case on Blackman Ferry Road.

Deputies were called Sunday morning on the report of the theft. An investigation led them to believe that the stolen property was at a residence in the 6900 of McClure Road. Around 3PM a search warrant was served and authorities say they recovered stolen antique gasoline signs, firearms, and also methamphetamine.

Deputies say they found 39 year old Tobey McCarley hiding under a couch inside the residence, and 36 year old Brian Mudd hiding under a bed. Both were arrested without incident.

Both have been charged with various offenses including, Theft by Receiving, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
