Madonna recently came under fire for seemingly comparing herself to great leaders like Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King Jr. by transposing her 'Rebel Heart' album artwork over their faces and uploading the images to Instagram.

Now she's using her Rebel Heart hashtag again, this time to lend support to the victims of the recent terrorist attacks that took place at satirical French newspaper, Charlie Hebdo, which resulted in the murder of twelve people -- including a number of staff members, two police officers and the paper's editor.

Madonna posted an image of white text on a black background that says, "Je Suis Charlie," -- a phrase has been used on social media platforms around the globe as a way for people to show their support to the newspaper after the attacks -- to Instagram with a caption saying, "These are very scary times we are living in. Ignorance breeds Intolerance and fear. We can only fight darkness with light! We are all Charlie! #revolutionoflove #rebelhearts."

Some users believe Madonna is using the tragedy as an attempt to promote her album, suggesting her use of the "Rebel Heart" hashtag is in poor taste, while others believe her actions are simply a show of solidarity.

What do you guys think? Was it in poor taste or do you think Madonna's intentions were good? Let us know!
