The Texarkana, Texas Police Department arrested a local teenager for a strong-armed robbery of the Game Exchange at about 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of Richmond Road. Once inside the store, the juvenile allegedly rushed behind the counter of the business and took cash from the register, law enforcement authorities said.

The juvenile reportedly next fled from the store but was caught by one of the store employees a short distance away. Once caught, the juvenile struck the employee and broke free.

TTPD officers arrived within minutes and located the juvenile on Azalea Street.  The juvenile fled from the officers and jumped a fence into the back lot of the Sam’s Wholesale Club where other officers were waiting to contain him.

All of the stolen money was returned to the business and the juvenile was taken to the juvenile detention center where he was charged with robbery, authorities said.
