If you've despaired of ever hearing another new song from Justin Timberlake, you can now rejoice cautiously.  JT is reportedly in the studio, recording his first new album in six years.

The website Showbiz411.com reports that Justin has been"working around the clock" with Timbaland, his longtime collaborator, as well as other producers. The album could be ready as early as the first quarter of 2013. The website claims the project is very "hush-hush."

If this album does materialize, it'll be Justin's first since 2006's Future Sex/Love Sounds. While previous reports of new JT music have been denied, Showbiz411.com has a decent track record for ferreting out fact. It most recently broke the news of the actual existence of Adele's James Bond theme, for example.

It's worth noting that in January of 2011, Justin's manager, Johnny Wright, told ABC News Radio, "I guarantee you that you will hear a brand-new Justin Timberlake album within the next 18 months." So Wright's prediction was a little off; if this new report is correct, it'll be more like 24 to 26 months by the time the disc is released
