Justin Bieber, Whitney Houston, Katy Perry Top Bing’s List of “Most-Searched Musicians of 2012″

You know the year is drawing to a close when search engines start revealing their "most-searched" people and things of 2012.  First up is Bing, which tells us that the most-searched musician of 2012 is.. guess who?  Justin Bieber.  That's not surprising, considering he's also the second most-searched person overall of 2012, after Kim Kardashian.

The second most-searched musician of 2012 is Whitney Houston.also unsurprising, given her tragic death back in February.  Katy Perry is third on the list, followed by Selena Gomez, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Chris Brown andJennifer Lopez.

When it comes to the most searched-for songs of 2012, PSY's "Gangnam Style" is tops, and you could probably reel the rest off pretty easily.  "Call Me Maybe" is next, followed by "Boyfriend," "Somebody That I Used to Know," "We Are Young" and "What Makes You Beautiful."  Also in the top 10: "Payphone," "Glad You Came" and "Part of Me."
