Justin Bieber Tweets TMZ Phone Number As April Fools’ Joke

Justin Bieber pulled a fast one on his fans  and on TMZ, on April Fools' Day.

Sources said that Justin posted a tweet on Monday in which he claimed, "As promised taking all fan phone calls TODAY at (888) 847 9869. Talk to u soon!"

Any fan who dialed that number didn't get the chance to chat with Justin, though. That's because it's actually the number to call to pass along a tip to TMZ. The number is clearly displayed at the top of the TMZ website.

Justin, who has four concert dates in Germany lined up for this week, deleted the tweet later in the day. It seems TMZ has yet to respond to the prank.

Perhaps this was payback on Justin's part for all of the stories TMZ has published lately about his personal drama?
