Jordan Brand Unveils Air Jordan 1 Satin Shattered Backboard
The coveted Air Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard will return once again this spring, but with a few slight changes to the silhouette, and this time around, made exclusively for women.
Unveiling the brand new version of the sneakers via Nike’s news page, the Jumpman introduces the satin iteration of the popular Shattered Backboard silhouette. Featuring the same orange, black and white color combination as the 2015 leather version, this new model includes a satin material on the toe front and heel of both sneakers. A remastered tumbled leather will also be added to the upper side panels while a black Nike check logo and Jordan wing logo are stitched onto the shoes. To complete this pair's look, Jordan Brand keeps the midsole white and adds an orange translucent outsole to the bottom surface.
The Shattered Backboard colorway was first introduced by Jordan Brand in the summer of 2015. A year later, with the success of the shoes, Jumpman recreated an alternative version of the kicks but with the colorways reversed on the upper.
Along with the release of this women's Air Jordan 1 Satin Shattered Backboard, Jordan Brand will also release two reimagined versions of the Air Jordan 1 in two popular hues exclusively to the ladies.
