The National Enquirer, the tabloid that broke news of John Edwards' affair with Rielle Hunter during his 2008 presidential campaign, is claiming in its new issue that the pair have plans to wed--a mere month after his wife Elizabeth passed away.

Edwards reportedly spoke of marriage to his mistress during the initial affair, promising her a rooftop wedding in New York City with a performance by the Dave Matthews Band after Elizabeth, who was already ill with cancer, was out of the picture.

The late Elizabeth Edwards made headlines on Thursday when reports emerged that she cut her cheating husband out of her will six days before her December 7th death.
