Good Wednesday, Here are some stories making headlines today:

Crews in Little River County Arkansas are trying to remove 31 cars loaded with coal that derailed between  Ashdown and Ogden,  just north of  Texarkana. No one was injured in the train derailment.

Two projects to construct overpasses should improve safety at intersections in Cass and Upshur Counties in Northeast Texas according to plans approved by the Texas Deaprtment of Transportation in June.

The overpasses will be constructed on US 59 at FM 3129 near Domino in Cass County and on US 271 at SH 155 West in Gilmer in Upshur County. Construction should begin in August and take about 3 years to complete.

Make plans to attend a Hamburger Lunch Fundraiser this Saturday July 9th at Masonic Lodge #341 in Texarkana, Arkansas. The fundraiser lunch will be from 11am to 2pm at the Lodge located off of 4102 East 9th Street.
