Texarkana Arkansas City Board of Directors meets tonight at 7pm at City Hall. Tonights meeting was rescheduled from yesterday because of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday. The public is invited to attend the open portion of tonights meeting.

Just when will the Texas Primary Election be held this year? Right now, no one has the answer to that question. Texas U.S. Senator John Cornyn says he does not expect the April 3rd date to hold and calls the potential delay “ not desirable”. The U.S. Supreme Court has yet to rule on a dispute over the state’s redrawn voting maps. Cornyn says the high court should respect the Legistlature-drawn maps.

Jeff Fisher was announced today as the new head football coach of the St. Louis Rams of the NFL. Fisher previously was the head coach of the Tennessee Titans for many years.
