Good Monday, Here are some stories making headlines today:


Arkansas U.S. Congressman Mike Ross says he will not be running for re-election next year. The 4th district representative says he wants to spend more time with his family and explore new opportunities here at home in Arkansas. Ross has previously expressed interest in running for Governor in 2014 but says any decision on that will wait until his House term expires.


Texarkana, Texas City Council meets tonight at City Hall. Items on the agenda include water issues and the City Manager's contract. The public is invited to attend the open portion of tonights meeting.

The NFL Players have agreed to the new collective bargaining agreement with the owners. This paves the way for the opening of training camps this week and pre season games in August.
