An underpass in Texarkana is closed following an accident. Texarkana, Texas Police say the underpass support structure on West 40th Street just West of Texas Boulevard has been struck again, causing the street to be closed. Authorities are asking motorists in the area to slow down and pay close attention to detour signs and workers that are present.
Hiring slowed down in October as employers faced more uncertainty over future economic growth. The Labor Department says the economy added 80,000 new jobs last month, the fewest in four months and below Septembers revised total of 158,000. The unemployment rate however dipped to 9% from 9.1% the previous month.
Don’t forget to fall back to standard time when you go to bed Saturday night. Turn back your clocks one hour at bedtime on Saturday. That means come Sunday the mornings will get light earlier and the sun will set earlier in the evenings.
