It is officially 'Elf On The Shelf' time at my house. Now that Thanksgiving is over and the tree is fully decorated the elves have made their appearance.
If you are not a parent here is all the details n the little things know as the 'Elf On The Shelf'. It's all about an elf that watches your kids to make sure they are being good, and it flies back to Santa every night to report to him.

You can't touch them or they will lose their magic. The kids even get to name their elf. I have a 10-year-old, and 6-year-old and yes, the elves are on our shelves. Granted, my son's elf is named "Elfie." Don't laugh, he got to pick the name. My daughter, Addy's, elf is "Snowflake."

Half of the fun is to find new ways for the elves to get into mischief and the stories that you can tell your children. It is best in that it is something you can use to keep the kids in line and tell them that their elf is making sure they are being good.

The biggest issue my wife and I have is finding new ways to put them into mischief. Here is a quick video that might help.
