It’s Official, Katy and Russel’s Divorce Finalized

Russell Brand has often been referred to as Katy Perry’s ex-husband in recent months, but their marriage technically did not come to an end until Monday.

E! News reports Katy and Russell are only now officially single, even though the British comedian filed for divorce in late December. They had to wait approximately six months after that filing under California law for their divorce to be made official.

Katy and Russell reached a divorce settlement in February. They tied the knot in October of 2010, in India.
