'Iron Man 3' has been the subject of many rumors, most of which have revolved around the possibility of cameos from current and future Avengers. Well, you might not want to get your hopes up as it looks like 'Iron Man 3' will very much be its own movie and will have no superhero cameos.

Whether it's Ant-Man or Wasp or Hulk, there have been multiple rumors about who would stop by and visit Tony Stark in 'Iron Man 3.' But if Marvel president Kevin Feige is to be believed, there will be no other Avengers in the film. Feige tells Empire Magazine (via Slashfilm):

Iron Man 3 doesn’t feature any of the other Avengers, or Nick Fury showing up, or any of those world-blending conceits that the Phase One films had. You have to keep in mind that Iron Man 3 had been in the works for almost a year, year and a half before The Avengers was released. We’re sticking to the vision for these films, and showing once again that these characters are just as interesting alone as they are together.

As the rumors went, the post-credits scene was going to introduce Ant-Man, Stephanie Szostak was secretly starring as Wasp and Bruce Banner would be hanging out with Tony Stark. But it appears as if none of those things are true...unless Feige is trying his hand at a little misdirection to throw fans off the scent of some of their bigger surprises.

So what do you think? Would you be disappointed if 'Iron Man 3' featured no Avengers cameos? Or are you just fine with a standalone adventure?
