Hot Rods And Good Times

Y'all know Mena is just a hop, skip and a jump away right? Yes, I am referring to Mena, AR. 

Mena might just be my halfway stopping point on my way up to Fayetteville for school, but August 23 - 24 Mena will play host to the Wilhelmina Rod Run. It will be held from 8 a.m. -  12 p.m. and admission is free. Yes, FREE! Collective yay!

It is one of the regions biggest events and when I say Rod Run I am definitely referring to Hot Rods.

The event will bring in almost 200 classic restored cars, street rods and muscle cars! Everyone's dream right? Right. Well, maybe not everyone's...but definitely my dad's.

The event will take place at the Queen Wilhelmina State Park during the day coming into downtown Mena in the evening.

It will be a weekend filled with music, food, dancing and classic cars. So that means, make sure you pack your boogie shoes and cameras for the Rod Run!
