Hot Rod Power Tour in Texarkana – What You Need to Know [VIDEO]

This Sunday (June 2) the Eagle is beyond proud to be a part of the finest high-end automotive tour in the world, the Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour 2013. Join us for the Texarkana stop at the Four States Fairgrounds. Here's what you need to know.

Chevrolet Performance presents the 19th Annual Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour driven by Continental Tire. The HOT ROD Magazine Power Tour is an embodiment of everything that HOT ROD Magazine has done for the last 65 years! The seven-day seven-city tour travels more than 1,400 miles, thru five states. Leaving from Arlington Texas on June 1, the tour makes it's way to the zMAX Drag Strip at Charlotte Motor Speedway on June 7. Along the way the tour will be make stops in some car crazy towns, attracting more than 85,000 spectators, and travelling with more than 50 of the country's top automotive and aftermarket manufactures, the show draws HOT ROD enthusiasts from across the country. All sorts, makes, and models of hot rods, street rods, custom trucks, and street machines will be on hand. (SPECTATORS ARE FREE.)

In Texarkana, the pages of HOT ROD magazine come to life at the Four States Fairgrounds. We will see some of the coolest cars on the planet for one day only with the 'Edlebrock Cruise Night' from noon to 7:00 p.m. You will have a chance to meet automotive legend Vic Edlebrock at the Edlebrock Display, and YES, you can meet "Miss Hot Rod", and T.V. Host of Overhaulin', PowerBlock, and Million Dollar Motors, Courtney Hansen.

Over the years the HOT ROD Magazine Power Tour has become the ultimate hot rod gathering, with people coming from all over the world to to sight-see, shop, and show off some of the wildest custom car creations Texarkana will ever see.

Hot Rod owners can join the tour at any stop, for one day or to follow the rest of the way to the finish in Charlotte. but people that do the tour from start to finish are called 'Long Haulers', and get the respect the deserve with a big Long Hauler only party June 8.. NO SPECTATORS.

If you want to join the show for the one-day stop in Texarkana, you will be able to do that at the Four States Fairgrounds on the day of the show for only $30.00.

Those that want to do the whole tour and earn the honored badge of "Long Hauler", registration is open for any year, make, or model of vehicle. At this point you will have to register on-site for $90.
