It was an optimistic and relaxed Bobby Petrino that arrived in town yesterday evening. The Arkansas Razorback Head Football coach was the guest speaker at the annual Texarkana Area Razorback Club Meeting. His team coming off an 11 win season and a Top 5 in the nation finish, has Petrino optimistic about the Hogs chances this fall.

The coach had high praise for two former Texarkana High School players. Dennis Johnson of Arkansas High, and Cobi Hamilton from Texas High will be key to Arkansas having another successful season. Coach Petrino expects Hamilton to  be the go to guy as far as receivers for the Razorbacks this year.

As for Johnson, Petrino expects him to keep getting better and says he obviously will add to his record as the best Kick Returner in Razorback history. The coach was very proud of Johnson’s effort to come back from a season ending injury season before last.

The Razorbacks will play a majority of their games in the state of Arkansas this coming season. The LSU game has been moved to Faya
