Hiking At Its Best In East Quarry Peak

What do day trips and hiking have in common?They reduce my stress level as I unwind and enjoy nature.

However, I never heard of East Quarry Peak, but I read it's known for unique rocks, plants, history and landscape views. I am intrigued as to what I may find so I marked my calendar for Sunday, Nov. 17 to take the 2.5 mile hike to explore this area.

The meeting place is the Little Rock Arkansas Visitor Center. So bring plenty of water and good walking shoes for the trail as well as your camera and binoculars to see those spectacular views up close.
