Genia Bullock Is Thankful For God’s Love – 28 Days of Thanks

With Thanksgiving rolling around next week, TASD's Genia Bullock reminds us that we don't have to wait until that one day each year to be grateful. 

I am thankful for God’s love. Often times, we do not reflect on the things that we are thankful for until the holiday season is near. However, God’s love is ever present and with us every day. Many of us are familiar with the scripture John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life – the ultimate sacrifice. I believe God’s unconditional love is the standard by which we should love one another. As we go about our busy lives, let us reflect on God’s love for us and strive to model God’s love towards one another. Let love be you highest goal… 1 Corinthian 14:1 (NLT)."

About Genia Bullock

Genia has been married to her husband, Ron, for 21 years. They have three children: son Jordan – 20, daughter Jada – 16 , and daughter Jasmine – 9.

She is a proud employee of the Texarkana Arkansas School District (TASD) where she has worked for ten years. “While I am not always in direct contact with the students on a daily basis, I strongly believe in public education and our district’s mission to provide a safe and nurturing environment of educational excellence where all belong, all learn, and all succeed.” Genia is the Public Relations and Community Involvement Coordinator for TASD. In this role, she represents the district in the community, forges partnerships to help enhance the educational experience for both teachers and students, and informs the community of district happenings and ways to get involved.
