Starting Jan.2, 2014, the 2002 GED Testing Series will be replaced with a GED® Testing Program which will be a "springboard for more education, training, and better-paying jobs," according to the GED Testing Service.

The four content areas—literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies—will measure the knowledge and skills of each individual so that they can be fully prepared for college readiness.

All GED classes in Texarkana are held at Texarkana College. If you have started with the 2002 GED Testing Series, you have until Dec. 31 to complete the series.
