Kanye West appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday (Aug. 9) and, as with pretty much anything 'Ye does these days, it went viral. In the 21-minute sit-down, the Chicago rap star touched on various topics with candor, including his porn preferences, but was unable to swiftly come up with an answer to why he supports President Trump but was passionately opposed to George Bush Jr. Three days later, and many people, including G-Eazy, are still waiting for an answer.

As previously reported, Kanye was asked a simple question by Kimmel about his ties with No. 45. "You so famously and so powerfully said 'George Bush doesn't care about Black people.' It makes me wonder, what makes you think Donald Trump does, or any people at all?" Kimmel pondered. Yeezy stared off into space for a few awkward seconds, before Kimmel quickly went to commercial to apparently relieve the pressure in the room.

Kanye has since defended himself against people who have been saying he was stumped by and unable to answer the question, blaming his lack of a response on time constraints. "On Jimmy Kimmel we had a great time having a dialogue," Kanye posted on Twitter on Saturday night (Aug. 11). "I’m reading that I was stumped by a question. Let me clarify the click bait. I wasn’t stumped. I wasn’t given a chance to answer the question."

He added, "The question was so important I took time to think. And then I was hit with the let’s go to commercial break. That interview showed strong personalities with different opinions having a civil conversation."

Well, the question still remains and West has yet to use any outlet to offer an explanation, as noted by G-Eazy on Twitter on Sunday (Aug. 12). In response to 'Ye explaining himself, the Oakland rapper replied on Twitter, "We’re all still waiting on your answer, the floor is yours."

Since the interview on Kimmel, the "I Thought About Killing You" rapper has offered up a brand new track in the form of the DJ Clark Kent-co-produced "Xtcy."
